Lake Estes is pretty waterless typically; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. But wait, there's more to do next to Lake Estes. Lake Estes is right by the Gem Lake Trail, and why not check out Olympus Dam since you're here. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. This is a wonderful region for folks who like       lakes. Livingston Lake is a lake close by, and Estes Park is a delightful place. Rocky Mountain National Park is a glorious local destination here at Lake Estes; hey, Black Canyon Creek is a wonderful local stream. Summertime highs at Lake Estes commonly tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Estes are in the 0's. Mount Olympus is scenic and can be observed                  from Lake Estes, and if you came to camp K O A Kampgrounds is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Estes Valley Recreation District Estes Park Golf Club is close by, and Lake Estes Inn and Suites is a good location to get some rest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Gem Lake is in close proximity to Lake Estes; a perfect close by hotel is Lake Shore Lodge. This place, Lake Estes, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Lily Mountain Trail, and camping at Mary's Lake Campground is always a magnificent experience. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Front Range. There's whitewater on Saint Vrain Creek - North for all you adrenaline kick people, and do take a hike on the Cow Creek Trail. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Front Range is excellent! A glorious place near Lake Estes is Dry Gulch, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Big Thompson River.
