Lake Edith is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. There's wonderful hiking along the Silver Dollar Lake Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Winter Park is reasonably near. Arapahoe Basin is a great local ski area. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a brilliant time. You can run the rapids of Clear Creek near Lake Edith, and if you came for an overnight stay West Chicago Creek Campground is a splendid spot to camp.

| | wonderful. Don't leave Lake Edith without first going for a hike along the Chicago Lakes Trail, and Clear Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. While you're here at Lake Edith, you could also stop by wonderful Abyss Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Georgetown is a delightful place to get some rest. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Edith is close to the national average; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Get
your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Clear Creek, and you'll come across a picturesque lake called Chicago Lakes. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range.
Summertime at Lake Edith arrives with
high temperatures in the 60's while night lows are commonly in the 30's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Edith temperatures plunge to the 0's. All the outdoors
entertaining stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back time and again. The Abyss Trail offers hiking at its best; a pleasant trip to Highland Park is a great way to spend an afternoon.
