The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. At Lake Claire you can distinguish Birthday Peak; Best Western Vista Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. Having a great time at Lake Claire is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Magdalene Gulch is a nice place to go if you're at Lake Claire, and what would winter be without some skiing at Monarch. Having a fine time in the Sawatch Range is trouble-free. | | dominate the scenery of this neighborhood, and there's tremendous hiking along the Horn Fork Trail. Do take a look at Bear Lake close to Lake Claire, it's a beautiful lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the South Pine Creek Trail. at Hughes Meadow Campground, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Buena Vista is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year at Lake Claire arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime
lows descend down to the 30's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Lake Claire. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Sawatch
Range has to offer. There's so much to do here at Lake Claire that you need to camp here for a while, Colt Spring Campground is a great site for that, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Clear Creek. Not much rain falls here at
Lake Claire; during August this area sees the most rain while October is ordinarily the driest month. All the outdoors exciting things close to Lake Claire will keep you coming back over and over. The slopes of Ski Cooper are so inviting nobody can resist, and the Texas Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
