Lake Catamount is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. If you need a spot to stay Sunburst Condominiums (Vri) is a splendid choice, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Steamboat. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Park Range is peerless! Lake Catamount is good enough to spend more than a day at, Meadows Campground is a good local campground, and Lake Catamount is a site with many       visitors from Edwards. Lake Catamount gets very little rain; March is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is June. Hiking along the Buffalo Park Trail is wonderful fun, and you could always look at Pleasant Valley. Any time is a good time at Lake Catamount if you go for the outdoors. Take a hike on the Service Creek Trail, and Dry Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. You just can't imagine the amount of                  outdoors fun stuff the Park Range has to offer. Camping at Poulter Colorado Camps is always a wonderful experience, and Elk River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Waterstone Townhomes; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Lake Catamount Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Catamount is right by the Fish Creek Falls Trail, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Howelsen Hill. Through the days of summer at Lake Catamount temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
