Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Lagunita Lake is one of them. Lagunita Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek; there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Tepee Creek Trail. | | spot to discover. There's so much to do here at Lagunita Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lynx Pass Campground is a brilliant location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Sunburst Condominiums (Vri) is a great location to get some rest, and if you came to camp Toponas Creek Campground is a splendid place to do that. proximity to Lagunita Lake, it's a pretty lake, and going for a hike on the Midway Trail is always a great adventure. Near Lagunita Lake you come across the Morrison Divide Trail which is a great hiking trail, and hey, Gotta ski right?
Steamboat is a great site to do that. Lagunita Lake is a location that is relatively waterless generally; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Piney River has
a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and do explore Morris Dam since you're here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lagunita Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. Highs
throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's; night lows in the 0's for Lagunita Lake. A quick journey to Porcupine Creek near Lagunita Lake is a good idea. A picturesque lake like Morris Reservoir right next door to Lagunita Lake is a tremendous spot to go to; if you need a place to stay Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a perfect choice.
