Do stop by Lagunita Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Park Range rules! If you came to camp Toponas Creek Campground is a wonderful location to do that; get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Rock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lynx Pass is a great place to go to in the vicinity of Lagunita Lake, and you'll come across a picturesque lake called Morris Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | Everybody nearby loves skiing at Steamboat, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Tepee Creek Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Oak Tree Inn Yampa; close by you hit upon the Morrison Divide Trail which is a good hiking trail. But wait, there's more to do close to Lagunita Lake. There's so much to do here at Lagunita Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lynx Pass Campground is a brilliant place for that; a great place for whitewater paddling | |

Lagunita Lake is right next door to Morris Dam which is a lovely place positively worth visiting, and if you need a site to stay Sunburst Condominiums (Vri) is a tremendous choice. This lake is one of the great
places here in the Park Range. Not much rain falls here at Lagunita Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
Now, you may feel that's lots
but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Park Range. Porcupine Creek is a good local stream, and going for a hike on the Midway Trail is always a fine adventure. At Lagunita Lake all through the summertime months highs
are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lagunita Lake.
