This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. There are splendid places to explore along the Midway Trail, and Morris Dam is a place that is in the neighborhood of Lagunita Lake. Lagunita Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Morrison Divide Trail is       always a wonderful adventure; camping at Toponas Creek Campground is always a good experience. Summertime highs at Lagunita Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Lagunita Lake tend to be in the 0's. If you came to camp Lynx Pass Campground is a great place to do that; Lynx Pass is also a great site to discover. This lake is                  one of the great places here in the Park Range. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. Piney River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Lagunita Lake; a day on the slopes of Steamboat is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Oak Tree Inn Yampa, and a quick journey to Porcupine Creek is without doubt a glorious idea. And that's not all you can do here in the Park Range. A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling next to Lagunita Lake is Rock Creek; close by you stumble on the Tepee Creek Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.
