Soar down the rapids of Dolores River in a kayak, and Mesa Verde National Park is a very glorious spot to go to. Dry warm beds await you at Dunton Hot Springs, and pleasant hiking is available along the Stoner Stock Trail. If you need a place to stay       Days Inn Cortez is a great choice, and you can go for a hike on the McPhee Stock Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Kuhlman Reservoir has to offer. A magnificent location to camp here at Kuhlman Reservoir is Mc Phee Mobile Home and RV Park; if you've had enough of Kuhlman Reservoir, Trimble Reservoir is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Cozy Comfort RV Park and Mountain Retreat is always a pleasant                  experience, and Dunham Spring is a fine local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Dolores River offers some good whitewater. Kuhlman Reservoir is a location that is reasonably arid usually; October is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is June. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Kuhlman Reservoir. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's.
