You'll need more than a day to look at everything Kroenke Lake has to offer, you can camp at Colt Spring Campground, and you can hit the slopes at Monarch in close proximity. A great location right next door to Kroenke Lake is Magdalene Gulch, and why not take                  a refreshing hike along the South Pine Creek Trail. Do set aside some time for Horn Fork Basin since you're here at Kroenke Lake; there's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you adrenaline people.
