A magnificent place for whitewater paddling right next door to Kossler Lake is Boulder Creek - South; if time allows, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth taking a look at. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Front Range. A good nearby hotel is St Julien Boulder*s Hotel and Spa, and why not camp at Rimrock Campground if you're here at Kossler Lake.       At Kossler Lake you don’t see much rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not visit Sunshine Lake near Kossler Lake, and do take a look at Kossler Dam if you're here. Golden Gate is a great local campground, and you can run the rapids of Boulder Creek. The Bear Peak Trail offers hiking at its best; from Kossler Lake you get a nice sight of Langridge                  Dyke. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Alps Boulder Canyon Inn is a splendid choice; Kossler Lake is right by the Saddle Rock Trail. What a location this is for outdoors people. There are other sites here than Kossler Lake, for example Gross Reservoir, and a great location nearby is Bummers Gulch. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Kossler Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Green Mountain Trail, and there are plenty of people from Boulder here. For the duration of the long summer days here at Kossler Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
