Fivemile Creek flows through this region; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Eagle Peak Trail.       This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Lost Canyon Stock Driveway, and there are other sites here than Knuckles Reservoir, for example Bauer Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Dunton Hot Springs is a great spot to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Knuckles Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mavreeso Campground.
