You'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called Sutton Reservoir near Knuckles Reservoir, and camping is available at Mavreeso Campground. There's whitewater on Dolores River for all you adrenaline kick people, and great hiking is available along the Morrison Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Knuckles Reservoir. | | the Lost Canyon Stock Driveway is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Fivemile Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Dunton Hot Springs.

Why not camp at West Dolores Campground if you're here at Knuckles Reservoir, and Garrison Canyon is a brilliant place to pop by. Through the summertime months
highs here at Knuckles Reservoir get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while Knuckles Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are
in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Eagle Peak Trail; after a long day outdoors Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.

Summit Lake was constructed in 1905 and reconstructed and enlarged in 1938. It is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed.... |

It contains 163 surface acres when full and is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company.
