That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Kite Lake has it all. Going for a hike on the Wheeler Trail is always a perfect adventure. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Crested Butte are so inviting noone can resist; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Limber Grove Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Copper Junction Condominiums;       a striking lake like Lake Emma is a delightful spot to check out. At Kite Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while October is generally the driest month. On a good day at Kite Lake you can take a hike along the Wheeler Trail, and why not camp at Kite Lake Campground since you're here at Kite Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Crystal Peak Lodge is a brilliant choice, and soar                  down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak. If you came for an overnight stay Four Mile Campground is a perfect place to camp, and you're sure to stumble upon some good people from Silverthorne here. If you're here, you might as well go to Platte Gulch, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Breckenridge. Summer at Kite Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Kite Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Kite Lake.
