Wheeler Lake is a magnificent lake near Kite Lake, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Arkansas River. Camping at Kite Lake Campground is always a pleasant experience, and going for a hike on the Limber Grove Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Platte Gulch is a magnificent place to go to nearby, and hey, Gotta ski right? Crested Butte is a glorious location to do that. Lots of people from       Silverthorne come to Kite Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Wheeler Trail. Kite Lake is a location that is quite dried out regularly; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Crystal Peak Lodge, and the slopes of Breckenridge are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay                  Carbonate Copper Mountain is a great choice; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Wheeler Trail. Lakes? Sure, Lake Emma is in the neighborhood, and one of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Kite Lake is Mount Bross. Summertime highs at Kite Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Kite Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. Just can't get enough of Kite Lake. Camping is available at Four Mile Campground. But wait, there's more to do near Kite Lake.
