Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Lots of people from Grand Junction come to King Reservoir Number 3. There's so much to do here at King Reservoir Number 3 that you need to camp here for a while, Hay Press Campground is a magnificent spot for that. What a spot this  
   is for outdoors folks. There is a perfect hiking trail near King Reservoir Number 3 called the Cabin Trail; after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Grand Junction is a brilliant location to spend a night or two.
King Reservoir Number 3 is not the only location close by, King Reservoir Number 2 is a close by lake, and if you haven’t been to Colorado National Monument, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. But wait, there's more fun things to do
 
               in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. On a great day at King Reservoir Number 3 you can take a hike along the Gill Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Colorado River. King Reservoir Number 3 is a location that is quite dried up commonly; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
Looking for something right next door to King Reservoir Number 3? King Reservoir Number 1 is nearby, and get soaked paddling on Kannah Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Near King Reservoir Number 3 you come across the Ute Canal Trail which is a good hiking trail, and a nice site to go to close by is Lake Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hawthorn Suites Ltd Grand Junction, and if you came to camp Divide Forks Campground is a fine site to do that.
Summertime highs at King Reservoir Number 3 mostly tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at King Reservoir Number 3 throughout the wintertime typically dip into the 10's.
