King Reservoir Number 2 is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. King Reservoir Number 2 is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, not enough time. King Reservoir Number 2 is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Hay Press Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Colorado River offers some nice whitewater.

| | If you need a site to stay Hawthorn Suites Ltd Grand Junction is a great choice; you'll possibly meet some people from Grand Junction here. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Stay the night at Divide Forks Campground, and wonderful hiking is available along the Serpents Trail. Lake Canyon is near King Reservoir Number 2 and is a great location, and there are perfect places to look at along the Gill Creek Trail. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Colorado National Monument is a splendid spot in the neighborhood of King Reservoir Number 2, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Fruita Reservoir Number 1. And
if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near King Reservoir Number 2. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Grand Junction, and you can go for a hike on the Cabin Trail. Through the summertime here at King Reservoir Number
2, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to King Reservoir Number 2. King Reservoir
Number 2 gets very little rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Kannah Creek.
