Yeah, come up here to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains for a great time. Do visit Schrader Reservoir near King Reservoir, it's a striking lake, and there's nice hiking along the Ute Canal Trail. Good hiking is available along the Serpents Trail, and if you're here, you could also pop by striking G H and S Reservoir Number 2. Not much rainfall falls here at King Reservoir; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is usually the

| | driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Grand Junction is a nice choice, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Colorado River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. All the outdoors fun things in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. King Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Divide Forks Campground. High temperatures at King Reservoir all through the warm months are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings
highs down to the 30's while King Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Grand Junction, and you can stay the night at Hay Press Campground. And if that's
not enough, there's a load more to do next to King Reservoir. Since you're here at King Reservoir why not pop by Lake Canyon, and Colorado National Monument is a great national park. This lake is so wonderful. At King Reservoir you
always meet someone from Grand Junction, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kannah Creek.
