What a nice lake Kidney Lake is. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Park Range will keep you coming back time and again. Kidney Lake is a location that is rather waterless usually; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest month is August. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. Steamboat has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff; hiking along the Arapaho Creek Trail is splendid fun.

| | will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; why not camp at Hidden Lakes Campground if you're here at Kidney Lake. Kidney Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. High temperatures at Kidney Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Kidney Lake.

If the weather is lovely, you acquire a delightful view of Ironclad Mountain from Kidney Lake, and there's always West Arapahoe Dam to stop at in the vicinity of Kidney Lake.
