While you're here at Ketner Reservoir you will meet lots of people from close by Boulder, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn And Suites Denver Promenade is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Around Ketner Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Ketner       Reservoir; the night is quite cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are regularly in the 40's while Ketner Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The Saddle Rock Trail is a brilliant hiking trail next to Ketner Reservoir, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Bear Peak Trail. But wait, there's more to do next to Ketner Reservoir. If you came for an                  overnight stay The Prospect RV Park is a perfect site to camp; there's some interesting stuff to catch a sight of at Ketner Dam close to Ketner Reservoir. Nearby lakes? Sure, Great Western Reservoir is close to Ketner Reservoir; soar down the rapids of South Platte River in a kayak. If the weather is delightful here at Ketner Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Mesa Trail. Camping is available at Prospect RV Park, and paddling on Boulder Creek - South is so much fun. Near Ketner Reservoir you discover a golf course called Omni Interlocken Golf Club, obviously you could also check out Standley Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
