Rodeway Inn Gunnison is a good site to get some rest; you don’t have to go far from Kenny Moore Reservoir to see the water at Kenny Moore Dam. The Mill-Castle Trail offers hiking at its best, and not far from Kenny Moore Reservoir you'll come across Cunningham Reservoir which is a picturesque lake. Kenny Moore Reservoir is pretty dried       up commonly; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Gunnison River in a kayak; Mesa Campground is a splendid local campground.
