Why not stop by Kelly Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. After a long day outdoors Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; Kelly Dam is a location that is in close proximity to Kelly Reservoir. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek, and camping is available at Toponas Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. | | a hike along the Muddy Slide Trail, and a fine place to camp here at Kelly Reservoir is Stagecoach.
Colorado River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you're here at Kelly Reservoir it's a tremendous idea to stop by Egeria Park. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sunburst Condominiums (Vri). There is a brilliant hiking trail near Kelly Reservoir called the Ute Trail; there are other places here than Kelly Reservoir, | |

for example Newton Gulch Reservoir.
Not much rain falls here at Kelly Reservoir; the month with most of the snow is March; the driest month is June. At Kelly Reservoir throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's.
For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Kelly Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. If you have a thing about
the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Kelly Reservoir. The Morrison Divide Trail is a fine hiking trail near Kelly Reservoir, and swing by Channing Creek it's a great place to explore.
