At Keeton Reservoir through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Keeton Reservoir dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Keeton Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Front Range. If you need a place to stay The Broadmoor is a great choice,       and there are fine spots to explore along the Palmer Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Keeton Reservoir is not far at all from Colorado Springs, and Wye Campground is a good campground here. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a wonderful local destination here at Keeton Reservoir; Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a good place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Penrose Trail is always a splendid adventure,                  and if you want a little side tour, try Deadman Canyon. So much entertaining stuff in the Front Range, just astonishing. Camping at Keeton Reservoir is great fun, Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park is a great local campground. An out of the ordinary thing to visit near Keeton Reservoir is Keeton Lake Dam, and you can go for a hike on the Indian Trail.
