     Here at Karrick Lake you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Pueblo; Pueblo South KOA is a fine local campground. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Karrick Lake. Doe Spring is a pleasant local attraction. Starbuck Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Karrick Lake, and K O A Kampgrounds is a fine campground nearby. The warmest time of the year at Karrick Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures  
   are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Karrick Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's.
It is very dried out here at Karrick Lake mostly; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. While staying at Karrick Lake you could always explore Doe Canyon, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Suites PuebloSouthgate is a pleasant place to spend
 
               a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Karrick Lake, for example Machatten Reservoir, and if you need a site to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Pueblo is a good choice.

And also the mutated fish that the people think that are in the lake. I think they should be either gotten rid of or sent to labs to be tested on....I think they should leave the lake the way it is, but it should at least be cleaned....I think that we shouldn't bring something into the city limits that is destroying something in the mountains. Those beetles shouldn't come and eat the trees it is a hazard....
