The beauty of Kalcevic Reservoir attracts many people from all around. At Kalcevic Reservoir through the months of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Kalcevic Reservoir night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Whitewater paddling is glorious on South Platte River; Franklin Reservoir is a magnificent lake close by.

| | outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. Camping is available at The Prospect RV Park; a quick spree to Little Dry Creek is certainly a good idea. It is very arid here at Kalcevic Reservoir typically; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Kalcevic Dam is striking and it's near Kalcevic Reservoir; there are plenty of folks from Denver-Aurora here. A nice location to camp here at Kalcevic Reservoir is Delux RV Park, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Central is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
