    In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Juniata Reservoir is one of them. All through the summertime highs here at Juniata Reservoir get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Juniata Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kannah Creek, and hiking along  
   the Indian Point Trail is great fun. Just can't get enough of Juniata Reservoir. Nearby lakes? Sure, Guild Reservoir is next to Juniata Reservoir; a great place to camp here at Juniata Reservoir is Rv Ranch Grand Junction.
Whitewater paddling is splendid on Kannah Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Juniata Ditch, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Clifton Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. Around Juniata Reservoir
 
               you don’t get a lot of precipitation; October is when you get the most rain here while January is typically the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Very charming scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Powderhorn, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Reeder Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. Juniata Reservoir is not far at all from Grand Junction, and the Whitewater Basin Trail offers hiking at its best. Juniata Reservoir is right by the Spring Camp Trail, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Wine Country Inn.
Juniata Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and camping at Grand Junction/Clifton Campground is always a perfect experience.
