Juniata Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Juniata Reservoir is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Grand Junction/Clifton Campground is a fine site to camp nearby; you can go for a hike on the Spring Camp Trail. While you're here at Juniata Reservoir you will meet lots of people from close by Grand Junction. This lake is so wonderful. Juniata Dam has great water scenery and it's near Juniata Reservoir, and the snow is good at Powderhorn. This

| | lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Juniata Ditch, and don't leave Juniata Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Indian Point Trail. Juniata Reservoir is pretty arid commonly; most of the rain falls during October while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Kannah Creek, and Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 is a nearby lake that you could stop at. | |
