Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Junco Lake sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a lovely lake called Lark Pond near Junco Lake, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail. All the outdoors amusing things in the Front       Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek. So many cool things to do here at Junco Lake, too good to be true. While you're here at Junco Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Boulder, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Lion Lake Trail. If you're here, you might as well stop by Cony Pass; The Cleaver can be made out from Junco Lake. Not                  enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. While you're here at Junco Lake you can take a hike along the Bluebird Lake Trail, and if you need a place to stay Aspen Lodge is a good choice. Junco Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. It is very waterless here at Junco Lake typically; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Junco Lake, checking out Eagles Beak is a must; do check out Pipit Lake, it's a stunning lake. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Front Range. If you came for an overnight stay Pawnee Lake Campground is a good site to camp, and an interesting thing to go to near Junco Lake is Bluebird Dam. Inn At Grand Lake, The is a nice place to get some rest, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Saint Vrain Creek - North. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Junco Lake. Very stunning scenery and good skiing is what you get at Berthoud Pass, and camping is available at Shelter Rock Campground.
