     Hiking is a popular thing to do around Jumper Creek Reservoir; Fern Creek Stock Driveway is a fine local trail, and float down the rapids of Rio Grande in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Jumper Lake is close by, and delightful hiking is available along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a good  
   view of Baldy Mountain from Jumper Creek Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Jumper Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead is a glorious place for that.
That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Jumper Creek Reservoir has it all. Middle Trout Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jumper Creek Reservoir has to
 
               offer, you can camp at Road Canyon Campground. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is unbeatable! Why not take a refreshing hike along the Middle Creek Stock Driveway; a fine nearby hotel is Fairfield Pagosa Resort. Summertime at Jumper Creek Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Jumper Creek Reservoir tend to be in the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Jumper Creek Reservoir is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There are other locations here than Jumper Creek Reservoir, for example Baldy Lake, and do stop at Jumper Creek Dam while you're here.
Jumper Creek Reservoir gets very little rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is June.
