There's so much to do here at Jumbo Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a great location for that, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kannah Creek. The warmest time of the year at Jumbo Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. All       through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Jumbo Reservoir. If you're here at Jumbo Reservoir, checking out Spruce Point is a must, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Delta is a great choice. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Jumbo Reservoir has it all. If you came to camp Glacier Spring Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and nice hiking is available along the Deep Creek Trail. Hiking is                  a popular thing to do around Jumbo Reservoir; Carson Lake Trail is a great local trail; a day on the slopes of Powderhorn is just what you need. You can take a little visit to Jumbo Dam if you're here at Jumbo Reservoir; dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge. Jumbo Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls through October, and January on the other hand is the driest.
