This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous location to go to close to Josephine Lake is Cinnamon Gulch; you can go for a hike on the Grays Peak Trail. Don't leave Josephine Lake without first going for a hike along the Argentine North Fork Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Clear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Ski Tip Townhomes; a tremendous sight of delightful Brittle Silver Mountain       is available. Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone is a wonderful spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Josephine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Guanella Pass - Arapaho National Forest. Going for a hike on the Argentine Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and everyone close by loves skiing at Loveland. You could also stop at Geneva Lake while you're here at Josephine Lake; it's close by. That right there                  is a lot already, but it goes on; Josephine Lake has it all. Get wet paddling on Woods Creek, and if you've had enough of Josephine Lake, Shelf Lake is close by. Stay the night at Hall Valley Campground; the skiing at Arapahoe Basin is glorious. Josephine Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Josephine Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's.
