All through the summer highs here at Josephine Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Josephine Lake tend to be in the-10's. If you came for an overnight stay Hall Valley Campground is a good place to camp, and why not head up to Loveland and strap some skis to       your feet. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place in close proximity to Josephine Lake is Cinnamon Gulch, and Brittle Silver Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Josephine Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Woods Creek, and after a long day outdoors Ski Tip Townhomes is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Josephine Lake; Argentine Trail is a nice local                  trail, and Burning Bear Campground is a good campground here. Arapahoe Basin is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; why not take a refreshing hike along the Argentine North Fork Trail.
