Jonah Lake is a lake worth visiting. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Howelsen Hill is a tremendous local ski area; Granite Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. So many entertaining things to do in the Park Range, not sufficient time. Routt National Forest is a nice forest neighborhood near Jonah Lake, and Summit Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground.
The Fish Creek Falls Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you don’t have

| | a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Buffalo Pass is right next door to Jonah Lake and is definitely a great site to explore, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Jonah Lake; Percy Lake Trail is a great local trail. The warmest time of the year at Jonah Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. During | |

the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's while Jonah Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Park Range. Winterwood Townhomes is a great place to
get some rest; obviously, this is a magnificent region for people who like lakes, Summit Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a good site to spend a night
or two, and there's good hiking along the Newcomb Creek Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Whale Lake is in the vicinity of Jonah Lake; the skiing at Steamboat is wonderful.
Jonah Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of December
is the wettest with most of the snow; August on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do close to Jonah Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you acquire a vista of Round Mountain from Jonah Lake; for you golfers we recommend nearby Haymaker Golf Course.
