If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Johnson Reservoir. Get covered with water paddling on Bear Creek, and this is a popular location for folks from Denver-Aurora. Paddling on South Platte River is so much fun; Comfort Suites Southwest is a good place to get       some rest. Johnson Reservoir is ordinarily a relatively dehydrated place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Not far from Johnson Reservoir, you'll stumble on J B 'B' Grant Reservoir which is a wonderful lake, and while you're here why not go to Lilley Gulch. This lake is so wonderful. Sure, Grant C Reservoir is close at hand. At Johnson Reservoir all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's while Johnson Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
