At Johnson Lake you don’t see much rain; all through October this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a good place to spend a night or two; the Fayville Trail offers hiking at its best. Big Park is right here at Johnson Lake, and while you're here, you could also stop at wonderful Shallow       Lake. Camping at East Marvine Campground is always a great experience. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Johnson Lake. There's wonderful hiking along the Bailey Lake Trail, and Marvine Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of White River - South Fork in a kayak, and if you came to camp Marvine Creek Campground is a brilliant spot to do that. Throughout the warm                  days of summer at Johnson Lake highs are frequently in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Johnson Lake are in the 0's.
