If you come at the right time of year, North Platte River offers some glorious whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at CrossTimbers at Steamboat. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lakeside Campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Ute Pass Trail. This is a perfect vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lake John is a lake nearby; going for a hike along the Blue Lake Trail will       let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Looking for some flowing water? Try Lake Creek, and Helena Campground is a great campground nearby. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Park Range will keep you coming back persistently. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Brands Reservoir. So many amusing things to do at Lake John, so little time. Hiking along the Grizzly Helena Trail is pleasant fun, and at Lake                  John Dam in close proximity to Lake John there are some attention-grabbing things to see.
