What a nice lake Lake John is. Lake John is located in the Park Range. If the weather is great here at Lake John, you can go for a hike along the Ute Pass Trail, and Lake John is a fine lake close by. Lake John is pretty dehydrated mostly; most of the rain falls through April, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
At Lake John during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The winter comes

| | with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake John dip into the 10's. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lake John. Some of the water nearby flows, like Lake Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Campground is a nice place to camp. Brands Reservoir is a good spot to explore. Lake John Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; camping is available at Helena Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Blue Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; dry warm beds await you at CrossTimbers at Steamboat.
