So many enjoyable things to do at Joe Wright Reservoir, so little time. Going for a hike on the Montgomery Pass Trail is always a nice adventure; if you've had enough of Joe Wright Reservoir, Trap Lake is close by. Don't leave Joe Wright Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Thunder Pass Trail; you can stay the night at Skyline Campground. You could also explore       Zimmerman Lake while you're here at Joe Wright Reservoir; it's nearby, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Joe Wright Creek. At Joe Wright Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Joe Wright Reservoir.
