The beauty of Jefferson Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. Through the warm days of summer here at Jefferson Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Jefferson Lake. Jefferson Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of July is the wettest

| | with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
You can take a little trip to Jefferson Lake Dam since you're here at Jefferson Lake, and skiing at Winter Park is one of those things you just have to do. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Woods Creek; going for a hike along the Mount Nystrom Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

Range. Jefferson Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Saint Louis Campground is a great local campground; there are some great whitewater spots on Clear Creek - West Fork. So much amusing stuff to do here at Jefferson
Lake, too wonderful to be true. After a long day outdoors Winter Park Mountain Lodge is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Loveland. So many amusing things in the Park
Range, just amazing. There's so much to do here at Jefferson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Byers Creek Campground is a good spot for that, and hiking along the Saint Louis Trail is magnificent fun.
This lake is
so wonderful. You're sure to stumble upon some good folks from Silverthorne here, and from Jefferson Lake you acquire a delightful sight of Vasquez Peak. If you need a place to stay Best Value Inn - Sundowner is a great choice, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Byers Peak Trail.
