Jefferson Lake is regularly a rather dried up place; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are truly plentiful here at Jefferson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Loveland has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and a lake close by is Vasquez Lake. There are some glorious       whitewater spots on Clear Creek - West Fork, and Jefferson Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Saint Louis Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hideaway Village is a splendid place to get some rest, and Jefferson Lake Dam is not far at all from Jefferson Lake. So many cool things right next door to Jefferson Lake, definitely inspiring. If the weather is tremendous here at Jefferson Lake, you can go for                  a hike along the Saint Louis Trail, and Jefferson Lake is not far at all from Silverthorne. There is a good hiking trail next to Jefferson Lake called the Byers Peak Trail, and you can catch a glimpse of Vasquez Peak from Jefferson Lake. If you need a spot to stay Winter Park Mountain Lodge is a brilliant choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Woods Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. That right there is lots of amusing things already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Winter Park, needless to say you could also stop at McQueary Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Jefferson Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Jefferson Lake tend to be in the-10's. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Park Range.
