Take a hike on the Burning Bear Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Jefferson Lake, you could also take a look       at stunning Gibson Lake, and drift down the rapids of Clear Creek in a kayak. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Arapahoe Basin, and if you came for an overnight stay Michigan Creek Campground is a splendid spot to camp. Don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Jefferson Creek; since you're here you can take a hike along the Argentine North Fork Trail. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Keystone; you can have a nice hiking adventure                  along the Old Boreas Wagon Road. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Aspen Campground, and Ski Tip Townhomes is a magnificent place to get some rest. Jefferson Lake gets very little rainfall; during July this area sees the most rain while January is commonly the driest month. At Jefferson Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's.
