The warmest time of the year at Jefferson Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, typically in the 30's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Jefferson Lake. Going for a hike along the Burning Bear Trail will let you       absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and hey, Gotta ski right? Arapahoe Basin is a magnificent location to do that. Jefferson Lake is frequently a pretty waterless place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while January is generally the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If the weather is magnificent here at Jefferson Lake, you can go for a hike along the Old Boreas Wagon Road, and why not camp at                  Michigan Creek Campground while you're here at Jefferson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Clear Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and obviously Jefferson Creek is a delightful stream that is worth a visit. There are other places here than Jefferson Lake, for example Lower Michigan Reservoir, and Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone is a wonderful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Tenmile Creek is so much fun; if you need a place to stay Ski Tip Townhomes is a pleasant choice.
