Jamieson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Jamieson Lake reach the 80's. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Capulin Volcano National Monument is a wonderful local destination here at Jamieson Lake, and a lake close by is Sandy Kerr Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not sufficient time. Super 8 Raton NM is a pleasant place to get some rest; Raton Ski Basin is a nice spot to stretch your legs a bit.

If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Jamieson Lake. A magnificent close by hotel is Budget Host Raton, and Jamieson Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, SummerLan RV Park is a good
place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Jamieson Lake is not the only place close by, Walton Lake Number 2 is a close by lake, and Barela Mesa is charming and can be distinguished from here. Dick Messer Spring is always fun to check out, and you can stay the night at Raton RV Park.
