The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to James Spring Reservoir with overnight lows in the 40's. The slopes of Beaver Creek are so inviting nobody can resist, and if you've had enough of James       Spring Reservoir, Clark Spring Reservoir is close by. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range. You're possibly interested in lakes, Horse Pond is one of those close by, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is Eagle River. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Sonnenalp Golf Club is in the neighborhood. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. Having a fine time in the Park Range is uncomplicated. There is                  a pleasant hiking trail near James Spring Reservoir called the Cache Creek Access Trail, and you can run the rapids of Eagle River. Not much precipitation falls here at James Spring Reservoir; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest month is February. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. Going for a hike on the Rock Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Inn And Suites At Riverwalk is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Near James Spring Reservoir you locate the Red Canyon Stock Driveway which is a nice hiking trail; at James Spring Reservoir you always meet someone from Edwards. Gotta ski! Vail is a delightful place to do that, and James Spring Reservoir is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Fulford Cave Campground is a splendid location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
