The beauty of James Peak Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. An attention-grabbing thing to stop at near James Peak Lake is Stewart Lake Dam, and James Peak Lake is a glorious place to camp, Mountain Meadow Camp Grounds is a glorious place. That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. If you need a spot to stay Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a perfect choice, and you can hit the slopes

| | at Winter Park close by. After a long day outdoors The Peck House is a great place to spend a night or two, and unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes, Lake Caroline is a lake close by.

close to James Peak Lake. While you're here at James Peak Lake you can take a hike along the Guinn Mountain Ski Trail, and here at James Peak Lake you can catch a sight of Mount Bancroft. Summer at James Peak Lake arrives with high
temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at James Peak
Lake descend into the 0's.
Hiking along the James Peak Lake Trail is magnificent fun, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Clear Creek - West Fork. James Peak Lake is located in the Front Range. Be careful coming to the Front
Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Rogers Pass, and get soaked paddling on Boulder Creek.
Going for a hike along the South Boulder Creek Trail will let you
absorb the natural beauty of this region. James Peak Lake is pretty dry generally; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
