J O Hill Dam is scenic and it's near J O Hill Reservoir, and the Rule Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is a heap of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Country Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest, and if you came to camp Big Turkey Campground is a delightful location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A journey       to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile. There's so much to do here at J O Hill Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Trail Creek Campground is a perfect place for that. Just can't get enough of J O Hill Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Colorado Springs Monument, and at J O Hill Reservoir you can observe Bell Rock. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever want to go home again. If                  you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Platte River, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Little Creek. J O Hill Reservoir is a location that is pretty dry ordinarily; July is the wettest month with most rain while January is generally the driest month. At J O Hill Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while J O Hill Reservoir night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. Shrewsbury Gulch is a wonderful site to have a look at near J O Hill Reservoir, and there's wonderful hiking along the South Manitou Park Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. This lake is so wonderful.
