Why not camp at Gold Park Campground while you're here at Isolation Lakes, and Isolation Lakes is right by the Mount Massive Trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Isolation Lakes is great! Dry warm beds await you at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor       Gulch. It is very dried up here at Isolation Lakes regularly; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Eagle River; West Tennessee Lakes is a wonderful lake close by. There's some flowing water close by, Middle Fork Homestake Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Homestake Creek. A day on the slopes of Vail is just what you need, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Isolation Lakes; Main Range Trail is a brilliant local trail. During the days of summer at Isolation Lakes highs are commonly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Isolation Lakes. For you golfers we recommend close by MT Massive Golf Course; why not head up to Ski Cooper and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful.
