Isolation Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. Golf can be played at MT Massive Golf Course; a glorious site to camp here at Isolation Lakes is Gold Park Campground. Isolation Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mary Queen Campground is a great local campground, and don't leave Isolation Lakes without first going

| | for a hike along the Main Range Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Deckers Lake; the skiing at Ski Cooper is delightful. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Isolation Lakes. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Vail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Leadville. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here | |

Middle Fork Homestake Creek is a good local stream, and get drenched paddling on Eagle River. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Sawatch Range. Good hiking is available along the Highline Trail;
Isolation Lakes is not far at all from Edwards. Isolation Lakes gets very little rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
The warmest time of the year at Isolation Lakes comes
with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Isolation Lakes during the winter generally sink into the 0's. There's perfect hiking along
the Mount Massive Trail; after a long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Homestake Creek; here at Isolation Lakes you can catch a glimpse of Galena Mountain.
