Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Island Lake is one of them. Don't miss out on a spree to Rocky Mountain National Park while you're here at Island Lake. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. If you need a location to stay Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins is a splendid choice; if you came to camp Mitchell Creek Campground is a glorious site to do that.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. Dry warm

| | beds await you at Best Western Lodge At Nederland. Lakes are brilliant; Albion Lake is a lake that's near Island Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Rainbow Lakes Trail, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Berthoud Pass. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Front Range. Winter Park is a great local ski area, and the top of Mount Albion is easily observed from Island Lake.

splendid hiking along the Arapho Glacier Trail, and Island Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Pawnee Campground is a pleasant local campground. Island Lake Dam is beautiful and it's in the neighborhood of Island
Lake, and paddling on Boulder Creek - South is so much fun. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Island Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and
nighttime lows in the 0's for Island Lake.
It is very dehydrated here at Island Lake ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. Island Lake really is in the
middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is great on Boulder Creek, and don't leave Island Lake without first going for a hike along the Niwot Ridge Trail.
