If the weather is tremendous here at Ish Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail; lakes are such serene spots, why not explore Walker Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ish Reservoir has to offer, you can camp       at Parrish Ranch Recreational Vehicle Resort & Evnt, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Thompson River. At Divide Dam in close proximity to Ish Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and there are plenty of folks from Boulder here. Take a side journey to Dry Creek; Niwot Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Divide Reservoir is a delightful lake                  in the vicinity of Ish Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Longmont/Twin Peaks is a great choice. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Ish Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Ish Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Ish Reservoir. Near Ish Reservoir you find the Saddle Rock Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and if you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Ute Creek Golf Course. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Ish Reservoir has it all. Ish Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
