Many people like to go to Irish Lakes. For the period of the summer highs here at Irish Lakes reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Irish Lakes through the winter regularly descend into the 0's. Yampa River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Bull Trail. Irish Lakes gets very little rainfall; throughout

| | the month of October you get the most rain around here while January is mostly the driest month.
The peak of Blue Hill can be spotted from Irish Lakes, and the Joe Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Dinosaur National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Matt Trail.
