Do stop by Ingram Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Weehawken Pack Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Silverton. Grays Basin is right here at Ingram Lake, and hey, Gotta ski right? Telluride is a great place to do that. Ingram Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
Going for a hike on the Greyhound Pack Trail is always a perfect adventure, and whitewater

| | paddling is great on Lime Creek. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Ingram Lake. Nearby Imogene Pass is a fine location to go if you're at Ingram Lake, and after a long day outdoors Ice House Lodge is a delightful site to spend a night or two. And that's not all there is to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Just can't get enough of Ingram Lake. Just can't get enough of the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Near Ingram Lake you stumble on the Brooklyn Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; Blue Lake is a
nearby lake that you could stop at. A delightful nearby hotel is Ice House; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mineral Creek - South.
Around Ingram Lake you don’t get a
lot of precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Ingram Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, South Mineral Campground is a great local
campground; on a gorgeous day you acquire a brilliant view of Ajax Peak from Ingram Lake. Summertime highs at Ingram Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Ingram Lake.
