Budget Host Exit 254 Inn Loveland is a fine place to get some rest; if you came to camp Rising Star is a tremendous location to do that. Around Ide and Starbird Reservoir Number 2 you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Watson Lake
 | 18 miles away Watson is beautiful. You do need a wilderness habitat stamp to be there, but that is included with your fishing license. It is closed to boating, except float tubes. The river (poudre) runs along the east side of the lake so even for casual recreation or non fishing activities it is a picteresque spot.
