This lake is so wonderful. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Winter Park; great hiking is available along the Rosalie Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Lincoln Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Georgetown is a magnificent site to get some rest. What a place this is for outdoors people. There's fine       hiking along the Abyss Trail, and Idaho Springs Dam is a location that is close to Idaho Springs Reservoir. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Front Range has to offer. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Clear Creek; don't leave Idaho Springs Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Chicago Lakes Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Ranger Station is a pleasant place to camp, and Arapahoe Basin has                  good slopes and a friendly staff. Idaho Springs Reservoir is a good place of normal rain; most of the snow falls through April; October is the month with the least moisture. West Chicago Creek Campground is a brilliant campground nearby; if you need a place to stay Georgetown Mountain Inn is a delightful choice. Having a great time in the Front Range is easy. This is a pleasant region for people who like lakes. Echo Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and if you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek offers some good whitewater. Devils Nose is a peak you can see from Idaho Springs Reservoir. Idaho Springs Reservoir is located in the Front Range. Throughout the summer months at Idaho Springs Reservoir highs are mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 30's.
