Boulder Creek is a delightful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Iceberg Lakes. But wait, there's more to do near Iceberg Lakes. The slopes of Berthoud Pass are so inviting noone can resist, and Spruce Lodge Campground is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Iceberg Lakes; King Lake Trail is a good local trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not       go to Loch Lomond. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek - West Fork; a great close by hotel is Iron Horse Resort. Mount Epworth is clearly visible from Iceberg Lakes, and Midland Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Winter Park is a fine local ski area, and there's good hiking along the James Peak Lake Trail. After a long day outdoors Zephyr Mountain Lodge is                  a nice location to spend a night or two, and Riflesight Notch is without doubt a great location to stop at. Good hiking is available along the South Boulder Creek Trail, and there are other locations here than Iceberg Lakes, for example Reynolds Lake. At Iceberg Lakes all through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Iceberg Lakes.
