Ice Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. At Ice Pond you don’t see much rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. The Wapaca Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Ice Pond; a brilliant close by hotel is Best Western Vista Inn. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. Hop Gulch is right next door to Ice Pond and is a magnificent location,

| | and Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a nice place to get some rest.
All the outdoors entertaining things near Ice Pond will keep you coming back time and again. Camping is available at Mt Princeton Mobile Home and RV, and some of the water close by flows, like Fourmile Creek. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. On a splendid day at Ice Pond you can take a hike along the Fourmile Creek - Buffalo Meadows Trail; | |

This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. A great location to camp here at Ice Pond is Coast to Coast, and glide
down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak. Summer at Ice Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 30's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with
lows in the-10's to Ice Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Collegiate Peaks Golf Course, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Harvard Trail.
