Ice Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. You should definitely dedicate some time to Ice Lake Basin since you're here at Ice Lake, and Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a good campground here. High temperatures at Ice Lake during the summertime are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Ice Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.

| | There are other locations here than Ice Lake, for example Alta Reservoir Number 1, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Brooklyn Trail.
Mineral Creek - South has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Ice House Lodge. Head up to Silverton and strap some skis to your feet. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Ice Lake is peerless! Beattie Peak is wonderful and can be seen from Ice Lake, and going for a hike on the Sheep Trail
is always a glorious adventure. Telluride is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; Porcupine Creek is next to Ice Lake and is always a pleasure to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Camels Garden
is a good location to spend a night or two; the Highline Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby.
Around Ice Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and June is the month with the least moisture.
