Hurt Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Take a hike on the Red Canyon Stock Driveway; a lake close by is Domantle Lake. There's so much to do here at Hurt Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sylvan Lake is a perfect place for that, and a short visit to Little Dutton Spring is always worthwhile. Around Hurt Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
