    Huntington Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Park Range. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Willow Creek, and it's a great idea to pop by Gardiner Creek. Why not camp at Beaver Creek Campground since you're here at Huntington Reservoir; if you need a site to stay Littletree Inn is a good choice. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Huntington Reservoir is unbeatable! A good place to camp here  
   at Huntington Reservoir is Gilbert Campground, and the Sulfur Trail offers hiking at its best.
Around Huntington Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Cottonwood Reservoir, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Colorado River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. Huntington Dam is not far at all from
 
               Huntington Reservoir, and Huntington Reservoir is right by the Elk Mountain Trail.
Huntington Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horseshoe Sulfur Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Summit at SilverCreek. Through the warm months at Huntington Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Huntington Reservoir dip into the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at SolVista is one of those things you just ought to do.
