Just can't get enough of Hunter Reservoir. Skiing at Snowy Range is one of those things you just should do, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Blue Lake Trail. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Medicine Bow Mountains rocks! There's some flowing water nearby, Spring Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here, and the Grizzly Helena Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby.       Hunter Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Illinois Creek Campground is a great local campground, and Parsons Draw is another perfect place to have a look at close by. This lake is so wonderful. At Hunter Dam close to Hunter Reservoir there are some exciting things to see; going for a hike on the Fryingpan Trail is always a pleasant adventure. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Throughout the summertime highs                  here at Hunter Reservoir reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's while Hunter Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. If you came to camp Pelton Creek Campground is a tremendous place to do that, and here at Hunter Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Parkview Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Hunter Reservoir is a location that is quite dried up regularly; during April this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Medicine Bow Mountains has to offer.
