This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. At Hunter Dam close to Hunter Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see; swing by Spring Creek it's a magnificent place to check out. Summertime at Hunter Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at       Hunter Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Going for a hike along the Grizzly Helena Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and get yourself into a kayak and hit North Platte River. Hunter Reservoir is generally a reasonably dehydrated location; the wettest month of the year is generally April, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so                  wonderful. On a good day at Hunter Reservoir you can take a hike along the Fryingpan Trail. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. Gotta ski! Snowy Range is a pleasant spot to do that, and camping at Illinois Creek Campground is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a glorious panorama of Parkview Hill from Hunter Reservoir, and do go to Ginger Quill Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. Hunter Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pelton Creek Campground is a great local campground, and you'll find a striking lake called Campbell Reservoir. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
