This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Dry warm beds await you at Creek Side Bed & Breakfast. There's so much to do here at Hunter Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Weir and Johnson Campground is a wonderful spot for that, and the Green Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. After a long day outdoors Vega Lodge is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and obviously,       this is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes, Colby Horse Park Reservoir is a lake close by. If you came to camp Twin Lake Campground is a tremendous site to do that; hiking is a popular thing to do around Hunter Reservoir; East Leon Trail is a brilliant local trail. Throughout the summer highs here at Hunter Reservoir reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and                  night lows throughout the winter for Hunter Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. Around Hunter Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
